What is the program?
"This is Only a Test" Test Taking Video Program is a series of 40, "laugh and learn" vignettes designed to enhance and reinforce classroom learning. Each 2-3 minute long piece covers a different topic including test taking skills, stress management, time management, reading comprehension and writing skills.

Who produced it?
"This is Only a Test" was created by the Emmy Award Winning producers at Page Turner Adventures, Inc. along with a team of outstanding educators. Page Turner Adventures, Inc. has developed a reputation for extraordinary, educational entertainment in both their unique live family shows and one of a kind video productions.

How do I use it?
The program is designed to air on classroom televisions during the morning announcements. Schools that don't have this kind of system may wish to keep the tapes in the Library Media Center for teachers to check out. Students in younger grades who aren't yet taking a standardized test will still enjoy and benefit from the program.

What do I get?
You will receive two VHS tapes each with 20 "laugh and learn" vignettes. You also get a Teacher Activity Book in digital format with printable handouts, activities and games that correspond with the topics covered on the tapes. Some teachers may wish to show vignettes again in their classrooms. Additional sets may be purchased to make this easier on both the teachers and the media specialist.

How much is it?
